The Galleri blood test finds deadly cancers earlier, and the effect grew each year in a 142,000-person trial
In the NHS-Galleri trial, adding a yearly Galleri blood test to usual care found four times as many cancers through screening, and stage 4 diagnoses fell 22% and 26% in the second and third years. It missed its main goal and hasn't yet been shown to save lives, so it adds to regular screening rather than replacing it.
